Skanda Gupt: Archer type heavy dinara, 9.4g, obv; The king is shown in partial tribhanga posture with the bow and arrow wearing a dhoti rather than a trouser. Skanda under arm. Legend: to be fully deciphered - possibly Parahitakari raja jayati divam sri karamadityah - rev; Goddess Lakshmi is shown seated on a lotus and holds a lotus flower in her left hand and a diadem in her right hand. Legend: Kramaditya Upagati metre - 'The king Karamaditya, the benefactor of others, wins the heaven'. “A long flowing sash is shown at kings waist on all coins of this variety”. Altekar referred to it as a "whip" while describing this effect on some of the coins of Chandra Gupta. rev; legend – Karamaditya. Estimate
