Ancient Central Malwa, Vidisha/Bes-Betwa confluence region - local uninscribed copper punch-marked coin, (c.200-150BC), unlisted in major publications, 6.40g. Obv: five very ornate symbols - river with fishes and turtles, tree-in-railing (in centre), a stylized Shrivatsa on a pedestal, an 'Ujjain' symbol with smaller 'Ujjain' symbols in orbs and taurine-headed standards within quadrants, and a decorated three-arched hill topped by a triangle-headed standard.
