Maharathis in Vidarbha, Varuni family - alloyed copper 'elephant' type coin of Maharathi Pusavaruni, (c.150-200 AD), not listed in major publications, 5.05g. Obv: elephant standing right; Brahmi legend Maharathisa Pusavaruni… (letter Pu engraved retrograde). Rev: a tree in railing; inverted taurine and triangle headed standard to left, Shrivatsa and Swastika to right.
