Chalukyas of Kalyana or Feudatories, gold punch-marked Gadyana, (1100-1200 AD), 3.51g, with nine punches: 5x Lion facing right, 2x Kannada letter 'Shri', 1x Kannada legend 'Imadi', 1x truncated Kannada legend 'linga'.
Uncirculated, Rare.
The word 'Imadi' might stand for 'Greater' and it was a part of some feudatory titles. The coin is unusual for having the lion in the punches facing right, on most types he faces left.
