Western Kshatrapas, Karddamaka dynasty, silver drachm of Rudrasena II s/o Viradaman as Mahakshatrapa (SE 177-198/ 255-276 AD), without the symbols of sun and moon, not listed in Fishman, Mint B2, 2.22g. Obv: profile bust of king facing right, Greek legend around. Rev: dynastic emblem in centre, Brahmi legend Rajñah Kshatrapasa Viradamaputrasa … Rudrasenasa around.
About extremely fine, Unique so far.
The dynastic emblem in the centre does not have the crescent and sun on either side of the arched-hill symbol in the centre. Fishman does not list such a variety.
