Jind, Fateh Singh (1819-1822 AD), silver rupee, Sahrind mint, ND, in the name of the Ahmad Shah Durrani, 'Qadir Be -Chun' couplet, star symbol below 'Suaad' within the 'S' of Jalus and flower-like symbol between the 'U' and 'S' of Jalus on reverse, unlisted in KM, 10.97g.
Good very fine, Very rare.
Fateh Singh assumed de facto authority following his father's incapacitation in 1813. Though he exercised power during this period, his rule was short-lived, ending with his death in 1822.
