Obv: Farsi legend Shri Raghunath Ji Sahay Zarb Srinagar with VS date in numbers, and 'IHS' monogram. Rev: same inscription in Takari script. (From the collection of Mr. I.K. Kejriwal)

It is widely believed that the Christian monogram 'IHS/JHS' ('Jesus Salvator Hominem') was put on coins by Ranbir Singh, who was influenced by a convert Brahmin named Anand Masih to embrace Christianity. However, there is no firm evidence for this - 'IHS/JHS’ could well be a stylized engraving for 'JKS' standing for 'Jammu Kashmir State'.
