Rev: Ficus tree in a railing, forepart of elephant to right, wavy line below; Kharoshthi legend Mahadevasa Ra(ña) above, Oduba(ri)… to right and (Rudra)dasasa to left.
Good very fine, Rare.
The grammarian Panini knew Audumbaras as a high caste Kshatriya group. Their coins are known mainly from the Himachal Pradesh foothills between Sirmaur and Chamba. They are bi-scriptural, and mention names of kings appended with their tribal appellation.
