Obv: Persian legend shahe noor ud-din jahangir ibn akbar Badshah with RY. Rev: Persian legend sikka zad dar ahmadabad az enayate elah [struck money at Ahmadabad, by the blessings of God] with AH date.
Attractive specimen, Toned, Good very fine, Very rare.
These heavy rupees are approximately 25% overweight and feature a distinctive word on the reverse - such as 'Inayat' in this issue - which forms part of the poetic couplet. This reverse word varies with each mint.
