According to Jan Lingen, the legend may be interpreted as “Struck at Surat in the year 38 of the Divine spirit”. Obv: Persian Legend Jal Jalalhu Akbar Allah. Rev: Persian legend Zarb Surat Ilahi 38 Jan.
