Babur (1526-1530 AD) - silver shahrukhi of mintless and dateless type, Rahman 70-03, 4.54g. Obv: Shahada within four -lobed mihrabi border, names of four Caliphs and their titles around. Rev: Arabic legend Zahir ud-din Muhammad Babur Badshah Ghazi in scalloped circle, other titles in margins.
Very fine, Very rare.
Struck after the battle of Panipat, when the victorious Babur adopted the title of 'Ghazi'.
