Malayaman chiefs of 'Sangam' period - uninscribed die-struck 'horse' type copper coin, Tirucoilur region (c.50-100 AD), similar to PAIC 3147, 1.88g. Obv: horse standing facing right, Ankusha (elephant goad) to right. Rev: river with fishes with three triangular 'mountains', supposedly representing a 'map'.
Extremely fine, Very rare.
