Obv: bust of king facing right, with hair tied in a knot behind the head and locks on temples ('warrior' style), wearing head ornament and heavy ear plugs; Brahmi legend Raño Gotamiputasa Siri Yaña Satakanisa around. Rev: Satavahana dynastic emblem composed of six-arched hill with crescent, modified 'Ujjain' symbol, sun, and wavy line in centre; Southern Brahmi legend Arahanaku Gotamiputaku Hiru Yaña Hatakanaku around.
