Western Kshatrapas, Kardamaka dynasty, silver drachm of Vijayasena as Mahakshatrapa (c.238-239 AD), Fishman 23.3.171, Mint B, dated SE 171, 2.44g. Obv: Profile bust of king to right wearing flat cap and earrings, Corrupt Greek legend around, date in numbers behind bust. Rev: Three arch hill (chaitya) at center surmounted by a crescent and flanked by sun and moon, wavy line (river) below, Brahmi legend in Prakrit language from 2 o'clock Rajno (Maha)kshatra(pasa) Damasenaputrasa Rajno Mahakshatrapasa Vi(jayasenasa).
