Archaic silver punch-marked coin - middle Ganges valley region, 'Marjadpur hoard' type, traditionally attributed to 'Kosala Janapada', (c.400-300 BC), ABCD configuration, Karshapana standard, not listed in Rajgor but similar to series 62, 3.40g. Obv: four punches - 1. Five double crescents around a circle 2. 'Star of David' 3. Box-grid with dots, 4. Bull facing left. Rev: plain.
