Panchala, post-Mauryan monarchical coinage - alloyed copper coin of Shivamitra (c.50-100AD), not listed in PAIC, 3.15g. Obv: incuse with three symbols in a row and Brahmi legend Shivamitrasa below. Rev: three standards on a pedestal - Chhatra and arrowhead flanking a plough/thunderbolt in the middle.
Extremely fine, Very rare.
Shivamitra is a new ruler known recently in the Panchala series.
