Obv: elephant in profile standing facing left with an ornamental triangle-headed standard above it back; Brahmi legend (…thisa) Sivakuhanasa along the margin. Rev: tree-in-railing in 3-dimensional perspective.
Extremely fine, Very rare.
Coins of this type are widely encountered as modern forgeries. This, however, is a genuine 'prototype' from which the forgeries may have been copied.
