Ancient Central Malwa, Vidisha region - uniface uninscribed copper punch-marked coin of post-Mauryan period (c. 250 -200 BC), PAIC 880, 7.77g. Obv: Five punches - 1. River with fishes, turtles and taurines 2. bull walking to right 3. elephant walking to left, 4. Lion seated facing left and 5. 'Ujjain' symbol superimposed on two diagonal sceptres with Swastika and taurine ends. Rev: Blank.
