Central India/Malwa - copper 'Kachcha Paisa' of 'Hanuman' type of Dhar flavour, in the name of Shah Alam II, Khachrod mint, inverted figure of Hanuman carrying a mace above mint-name, 11.81g.
Extremely fine, Rare variety.
Hanuman' type paisas were current in areas of Malwa growing opium and controlled by Dhar, Indore and Gwalior. Khachrod was a centre of opium manufacture under the control of the Scindias, and a part of jagir of Yashwant Rao Bhau.
