Ancient Malwa - post-Mauryan uninscribed die-struck coinage of Ujjain area, (c.200-150 BC), PAIC 637, 2.66g. Obv: Standing man, holding staff and water pot in centre; river with fishes emanating from a three-arched hill to left, tree-in -railing and wheel with arrow spokes to right. Rev: 'Ujjain' symbol with different small symbols in orbs and a fish in top left quadrant.
About extremely fine, Rare.
An interesting variation of the 'Ujjain' symbol on reverse.
