Gujarat in Rebellion during Mughal period - copper Dhinglo, most likely struck at Junagarh, during the rule of Amin Khan Ghori, in the name of Muzaffar Shah III, AH969, unpublished in major sources and historically significant, 6.40g. Obv: Arabic legend al-Sultan Muzaffar Shah with AH date, traces of Nagari legend Sha Ami षा अमी below slightly seen. Rev: Stylized rendering of Arabic legend Shams al-Dunya wa al-Din... etc on Muzaffar Shah III's coins.
Very fine, Very rare
This is a copper counterpart of the Kori offered above. The denomination of Dhinglo was as yet unrecorded for this very rare series of copper coins from peninsular Gujarat.
