Obv: Bull standing facing right, Brahmi legend Shri Kanta Vigra (?) above. Rev: Elephant walking to right within a rayed circle.

Rare examples of 'bull' type Vishnukundin fabric coins of early medieval Northern Maharashtra are known to have animal reverses, instead of the usual Kalasha motif. A peacock, an elephant, a horse and a lion are known. The legend on this coin is tentatively read as 'Kanta Vigra’ and this might suggest a new king with a '-Vigraha' ending name.
