Vishnukundin dynasty of Vengi - 'lion' type uninscribed coin of alloyed copper (c.500-600 AD), similar to Pieper 758, 8.46g. Obv: Roaring maned lion facing right; crescent and dot above and a small Shrivatsa above raised paw. Rev: Sankha shell pointing downwards between two tridents in a rayed circle.
Good Very fine, Very scarce.
