Chera kingdom of 'Sangam' period, uninscribed copper coin of 'elephant' type, c.100-200 AD, Karur/Vanchi region, similar to PAIC 3090, 6.80g. Obv: Elephant standing in profile facing a standard to right, 'star', 'wheel' and 'lamp' symbols above its back. Rev: Strung bow-and-arrow symbol with an elephant god (Ankush) placed sideways below it.
