Obv: Lion advancing right; personification of sun above, eight-pointed star to left; Arabic legend in Kufic script al-Imam al-Mustansir Billah Amir al-Mumineen above. Rev: Arabic legend in Kufic script al-Sultan al-'Azam Kaikhusru bin Kaiqubad in four line; mint and AH date in words in outer margin.
