Aurangzeb (1658-1707 AD), silver rupee, Katak mint, with 'Mihr Muneer' in obverse couplet, RY 4, mint at top on reverse and a 'sword' mint-mark, KM 300.49, 11.12g.
Scratches, Fine, Very rare.
The 'sword' symbol appears on coins of Katak mint in the closing years of Shah Jahan's reign, on the extremely rare coins struck here by Shah Shuja'a and on the early issues of Aurangzeb.
