Post-Mauryan tribal republics - Yaudheyas, square copper coin struck in the name of 'Brahmanya Deva' as tutelary deity of the clan (c.50 BC-50 AD), PAIC 1639., 6.33g. Obv: Six-headed Karttikeya standing facing holding a javelin, with hand on hip, partly visible; traces of Brahmi legend to left. Rev: Deer facing right, Shrivatsa above and a temple to right.
Very fine, Rare.
The coin is double-struck on obverse.
