Post-Mauryan tribal republics - Yaudheyas, copper coin struck in the name of 'Brahmanya Deva' as tutelary deity of the clan (c.50 BC-50 AD), PAIC 1636 var., 9.29g. Obv: Six-headed Karttikeya standing facing holding a javelin, with hand on hip, partly visible; traces of Brahmi legend to left and a sun-standard to right. Rev: Deer facing left, six-arched hill to left and an angular Nandipada below.
