Post-Mauryan tribal republics - Yaudheyas, copper coin struck in the name of 'Brahmanya Deva' as titular deity of the clan (c.50 BC-50 AD), PAIC 1631, 6.34g. Obv: Single-headed Karttikeya standing facing holding a javelin, with hand on hip, partly visible; traces of Brahmi legend to left. Rev: Deer facing left, an architectural structure (temple) to the left and a Shrivatsa above.
Good very fine, Very Scarce.
