Ancient Vatsa region - uninscribed cast coinage of Kaushambi area, (c.200-150 BC), 'Abhisheka Lakshmi' type, PAIC 1114, 4.29g. Obv: goddess Lakshmi standing, flanked by two elephants which lustrate her. Rev: a tree in railing partly visible.
Very fine, Rare.
The coin appears to be cast in an erroneous manner with only half the impression transferred from the mould.
