Akbar (1556-1605) - copper ½ Dam in local Gujarat fabric, copying design of silver issues of Ahmadabad dated AH970 on obverse and the legend of Gujarat Sultan Shams al-Din Mahmus Shah III on reverse. A highly unusual and interesting example of copper coinage struck in early Mughal period in Gujarat, 11.26g.
