Vishnukundins - uninscribed 'lion/Abhisheka Lakshmi' type coin of alloyed copper, middle/ late period (c.550-600 AD), 1.23g. Obv: roaring lion facing right. Rev: stylized depiction of goddess Lakshmi seated cross-legged facing, flanked by two stylized elephants on each side, pouring water over her from pots held in their trunks.
Extremely fine, Very rare.
A fractional issue of the more neatly executed 'Abhisheka Lakshmi' type Vishnukundin coins.
