Imperial Magadhan silver punch-marked Karshapana coin (c. 350-300 BC), GH series III, no. 305, 3.21g. Obv: five punches - 1. Sun, 2. Six -armed symbol, 3. Hare facing right surrounded by taurines 4. Palm tree 5. Elephant. Rev: bankers’ 'marks and traces of an older undertype.
Good very fine, Very scarce.
The coin is countermarked on a partially struck GH-series I coin.
