Archaic silver punch-marked coin - light-weight Karshapana, Palia hoard type, attributed to 'Kosala Janapada', (c.400-300BC), Rajgor series 65, 2.58g. Obv: four punches - Kosalan '3-S' symbol, taurine within semi-circular enclosure, six 'pointed star and a wheel. Rev: small 'bankers' marks'.
Good very fine, Very scarce.
