Post-Mauryan tribal republics, Yaudheyas, copper unit struck in the name of 'Brahmanya Deva' as titular deity of the clan (c.50 BC-50 AD), similar to MIGIS type 945, 6.85g. Obv:Six-headed Karttikeya holding a staff, standing with hand on hip; traces of Brahmi legend to left. Rev: Deer facing left, arched hill. Shrivatsa, Swastika and Kalasha (vase of plenty) above.
Very fine for the type, Very rare.
