Ancient Malwa, Mandasor region, uninscribed die-struck lead coin, (200-150 BC), unlisted in major catalogues, 3.50g. Obv: Symbolic configuration, tree in railing, wheel to top right and an 'arrowhead'-like symbol to bottom right. Rev: ''Ujjain'-symbol with concentric circles as orbs, with small taurines in quadrants.
Very fine+, Rare.
The appearance of the 'arrowhead' symbol is unusual in a Malwa coin. It is more frequently seen on uninscribed die-struck coins from Vidarbha.
