Ancient Malwa, Ujjain region, post-Mauryan uninscribed die-struck copper coin, 'standing man' type, (200-150 BC), similar to Pieper 417, 5.23g. Obv: Man standing frontally, holding staff and water-pot, small three-arched hill with crescent to right, small 'Ujjain' symbol above it. Rev: Blank.
Very fine, Rare.
Pieper lists a similar coin as no. 417 but it is counterstruck with a 'bull' device.
