Ancient Malwa, Ujjain region, post-Mauryan uninscribed die-struck heavy weight copper coin, 'standing man' type, (200-150 BC), similar to Kothari RB104, 17.07g. Obv: Man standing holding water-pot and stick; tree-in-railing to right. Rev: Blank.
Fine, Rare.
This heavy unit is different from RB104 type listed by Kothari in terms of the position of the symbols (interchanged here) and having a blank reverse. All heavy coins of the uninscribed 'Ujjain' series are very rare.
