Archaic silver punch-marked coin, Godavari Valley region, usually attributed to 'Ashmaka Janapada', ½ Karshapana, ABBC configuration, (400-350 BC), not listed in Rajgor, 1.49g. Obv: Four punches: 1x elephant facing right, 2x six-rayed symbol with annulets, 1 x palm tree branch. Rev: Traces of an undertype (2x four-pointed star visible).
