Archaic silver punch-marked coin, Godavari Valley region, usually attributed to 'Ashmaka Janapada', ½ Karshapana, ABBC configuration, (400-350 BC), not listed in Rajgor, 1.50g. Obv: Four punches: 1x elephant facing left, 2x four fishes facing inwards with triangular dots in between, 1x palm tree branch. Rev: Traces of an undertype (2x four taurines and fishes visible).
