Rev: Garuda emblem in centre, Brahmi legend from 3 o'clock Paramabhagavata Mahaharajadhiraja Chandra Gupta (Vikramaditya) around.
Extremely fine, Rare.
Chandra Gupta II struck silver coins of the 'Western' type soon after his conquest of Gujarat. The earliest of these issues - like this one - have a date in Shaka Era, rather than Gupta Era. Known only for SE329, they are very rare issues, particularly with portions of date visible.
