Archaic silver punch-marked coin, Saurashtra region, usually attributed to 'Surashtra Janapada' (350-250 BC), 'hare in 'crescent' type, 0.90g. Obv: A hare in a crescent below a square dot, two fishes in a tank above; 'treskelis, taurines and annulets around. Rev: Usual traces of undertype, elephant symbol visible. van't Haaff 24.0.5.
