Shilaharas of Kolhapur, uninscribed gold Gadyana, (1100-1200 AD), 3.95g. Obv: Anthropomorphic Garuda dancing facing with head turned to left, holding a snake in his left hand. Rev: Architectural temple with a two storeyed Vimana, supportive pillars and a Linga enshrined in the sanctum.
Very fine+, Extremely rare.
Most plausible attribution of this coin would be to Shilahara king Bhoja II (1175-1212 AD), even though it is uninscribed.
