Chalukyas of Badami, uninscribed gold 'Varaha', (700-800 AD), 3.81g. Obv: Boar facing right, sun and moon above, floral scroll below. Rev: Composite Vaishnava emblem, lotus (resembling a trident) in centre, emanating from a mace, flanked by Sankha and Chakra on either side and a pair of fly-whisks (Chauri) below. Unpublished in major sources.
