Western Kshatrapas, Kardamaka dynasty, Jayadaman (100-120 AD), silver drahcm, undated, Kshatrapa issue, chipped at edges, 1.34g. Obv: Bust of king facing right, wearing typical flat cap and earrings; traces of Greco-Prakrit inscription around. Rev: Dynastic emblem in the centre, brahmi legend Rajño Kshatrapasa Jayada… to right.
Very fine, Very rare.
Silver issues of Jayadaman are exceedingly rare and historically very significant.
