Obv: within a circle, Arabic legend al-Sultan al-Shaheed Muhammad bin Sam; date and mint in the margin, but cannot be satisfactorily read Rev: within a dotted border, Arabic legend '…al-Sultan al-Sharq (Taj) al-Dunya wa al-Din Yaldaz'.
