Nayakas of Ikkeri (Bednur / Keladi) - Gold Hoan of Sadashiva Nayaka (1530-1566), 3.27g. Obv: Shiva and Parvati seated, Rev: Devanagari legend in three lines 'Shri Sa / da shi / va', each separated by a double line.
Very Fine +, Very Rare.
Although the coin is struck in the name of Sadashiva Nayaka, the style of the reverse inscription indicates that it might be a later issue, perhaps struck by the Marathas.
