Archaic silver punch-marked coin, middle Gangetic Valley series, (450-350 BC), Vimshatika, 4.15g. Obv: Three punches of curvy lines in a triskelis format, and a small mark of taurine with dots. Rev: Banker marks.
Very fine+, Rare.
Coins of this series have been in past attributed to various 'Janapadas' depending on subjective information available regarding their find spots. Since the find cannot yet be regionally mapped with any certainty, all such attributions should be regarded as tentative.
