Sikh Empire, silver rupee, Amritsar mint, 'Gobind Shahi' couplet, VS 1841, Era 31x, after the death in the year VS 1840 of Jassa Singh Ahluwallia, who was the center of Sikh Power since the ascendancy of the missls, there was decentralization of power among different missls, 1841 year only the name of mint 'Sri Amritsar Jiyo' was temporarily changed to 'Saraye Amritsar Jiyo' part of 'Yay' is partly visible on the top of the reverse. G. Singh 01.07.01 pierced twice for use in ornaments.
