Early medieval Maharashtra, Khandesh region, 'bull' type alloyed copper coin of 'Vishnukundin' fabric in the name of 'Ranavigraha', perhaps a local Rashtrakuta ruler (600-700 AD), 0.88g. Obv: Bull standing facing right, with bell in neck; legend Shri Rana above. Rev: Kalasha (vase) placed on a pedestal with two lamp posts flanking it.
Extremely fine, Rare.
The coin is an exceptionally small fraction of the type and is double struck on reverse.
